WHEREAS, the Parish Council adopted Ordinance C.S. No. 03-0733 imposing a six (6) month moratorium on issuance of permits for construction or placement of building structures in a portion of Hillcrest Subdivision; and

    WHEREAS, to protect and preserve the health, safety and property interests of residents within a portion of Hillcrest Subdivision, it is necessary to extend the building moratorium to allow sufficient time for evaluation of present drainage conditions and regulations affecting the area more fully described within this ordinance.
    
    THE PARISH OF ST. TAMMANY HEREBY ORDAINS that it extends for an additional six (6) months the moratorium on the issuance of permits for construction or placement of building structures on property within a portion of Hillcrest Subdivision, Ward 6, District 5, described as follows:

    A portion of Hillcrest Subdivision bounded by Hillcrest Boulevard, Highway 435, Tee Street and Pineview Street, to include the following streets:

    Par Street, Birdie Street, Eagle Street, Trap Street, Green Street, Tee Street, Ted Ray
    Drive, Francis Oulmet Drive between Hillcrest Boulevard and Tee Street, Harry
    Vardon Drive between Hillcrest Boulevard and Tee Street, Bobby Jones Boulevard
    between Hillcrest Boulevard and Tee Street, Pineview Street between Hillcrest
    Boulevard and Tee Street, south side of Highway 435 between Hillcrest Boulevard
    and Tee Street, and the west side of Hillcrest Boulevard between Highway 435
    and Pineview Street.

    REPEAL: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

    SEVERABILITY: If any provision of this Ordinance shall be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions herein which can be given effect without the invalid provision and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared to be severable.

    EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon final adoption.
