RESOLUTION COUNCIL SERIES NO. C-0989

COUNCIL SPONSOR BRISTER/PRESIDENT        PROVIDED BY CAO     

        RESOLUTION OF THE ST. TAMMANY PARISH COUNCIL TO RECOGNIZE AND CONFIRM ADMINISTRATION APPOINTMENTS.

    WHEREAS, the Home Rule Charter for the Parish of St. Tammany Government provides at Section 4-01 (A) that the St. Tammany Parish Council will approve the appointment by the President of the Parish the directors of all departments and agencies created therein, and

    WHEREAS, the St. Tammany Parish Council now wishes to so approve and confirm the appointments and ratify all actions heretofore taken, and accordingly.

    THE PARISH OF ST. TAMMANY HEREBY RESOLVES that the following individuals, having been appointed by the President of the Parish, be recognized herein, approved and confirmed as per law:

    William Oiler, Chief Administrative Officer
    Kim E. Salter, Assistant Chief Administrative Officer
    Robert A. Barnett, Executive Counsel
    James Smith, Executive Assistant
    Greg Gorden, Director of Environmental Services
    Gibb Farrish, Director of Special Projects
    David deGeneres, Director of Public Works
    Leslie Long, Director of Finance
    Denise Jobe, Director of Permits
    Bruce Crouch, Director of Facilities Management
    Jean Thibodeaux, Director of Engineering
    Sidney Fontenot, Director of Planning
    Sorola J. Palmer Sr., Director of Community Action Agency
    Lisa Pratt, Director of Tammany Trace
    Dr. Brent Robbins, Director of Animal Services
    Suzanne Parsons, Director of Cultural and Governmental Affairs
    Janet Pike, Director of Management Information Systems
    Larry Hess, Fire Superintendent

    That actions heretofore taken by each of them for the benefit of St. Tammany be ratified and confirmed, and each person be so retained to serve at the pleasure of the President as per the Charter and be compensated as per law.
