        ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) LOT IN TALL TIMBERS SUBDIVISION AND AUTHORIZING THE PARISH PRESIDENT TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.

    WHEREAS, there currently exist one (1) undeveloped lot for sale in Tall Timbers Subdivision;
and

    WHEREAS, said property can be purchased for its current fair market value not to exceed $38,000; and

    WHEREAS, the purchase of said property by the Parish will assist in the improvement of regional drainage in the Tete L'Ours Basin.

    THE PARISH OF ST. TAMMANY HEREBY ORDAINS, that

SECTION I: The St. Tammany Parish Council hereby authorizes the purchase of lot 146 Montaigne Street in Tall Timbers Subdivision, St. Tammany Parish, in an amount, not to exceed $38,000.

SECTION II: The Parish President is hereby authorized to execute any and all documents in connection with said purchase.

    REPEAL: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

    SEVERABILITY: If any provision of this ordinance shall be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect any other provision herein which can be given effect without the invalid provision and to this end the provisions of this ordinance are hereby declared to be severable.

    EFFECTIVE DATE: This ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days after adoption
