        ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE PARISH CODE OF ORDINANCES, CHAPTER 15, ARTICLE I, LITTER PREVENTION, TO ADD A DEFINITION TO SECTION 15-001.00

    THE PARISH OF ST. TAMMANY HEREBY ORDAINS that it amends the Parish Code of Ordinances, Chapter 15, Article I, Litter, to add the following definition:

Section 15-001.00 Litter Prevention

Definitions

    Person shall mean any human being, municipality, or other governmental or political subdivision or other public agency, public or private corporation, partnership, firm, association, organization, receiver, trustee, assignee, agent or other legal representative of any of the foregoing, or any other legal entity.


    REPEAL: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.

    SEVERABILITY: If any provision of this Ordinance shall be held to be invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions herein which can be given effect without the invalid provision and to this end the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared to be severable.

    EFFECTIVE DATE: This Ordinance shall become effective fifteen (15) days after adoption.
