        RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE POPULATION CENSUS COUNTS FOR THE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICTS OF ST. TAMMANY PARISH

    WHEREAS, the State Treasurer for the State of Louisiana handles the distribution of monies from the fund known as the “Two Percent Fire Insurance Fund”,

    WHEREAS, the State Treasurer allocates these funds to the Fire service units within each parish,

    WHEREAS, the governing authority of the Parish of St. Tammany must certify the population census counts for the Fire Protection Districts under its jurisdiction for the purpose of the distribution of the 2% Fire Insurance Rebate Program,

    THE PARISH OF ST. TAMMANY HEREBY RESOLVES that the population census count for the Fire Protection Districts of St. Tammany Parish to be used for the 2003-2004 distribution of the 2% Fire Insurance Rebate Program are as follows:

        Fire Protection District No. 1            80,046

        Fire Protection District No. 3             7,649
        Fire Protection District No. 4            44,325
        Fire Protection District No. 5             5,370

    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Tammany Parish Director of Finance submit this resolution to the State of Louisiana, Department of the Treasury to be used in the distribution of the 2% Fire Insurance Rebate Program.
