RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PARISH PRESIDENT TO ENTER
INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE BAYOU LACOMBE CRAB
FESTIVAL COMMISSION, INC. FOR THE USE OF THE JOHN HENRY
DAVIS PARK FOR A FESTIVAL TO BE HELD JUNE 25-27, 2004,
SUBJECT TO MEETING ALL REQUIREMENTS OUTLINED IN THE
AGREEMENT FOR USE.
WHEREAS, the Bayou Lacombe Crab Festival Commission, Inc. (BLCFC) desires to utilize the John
Henry Davis Park, a Parish Park, to conduct the annual Bayou Lacombe Crab Festival; and
WHEREAS, the BLCFC desires the use of said John Henry Davis Park from June 18, 2004 to June
30, 2004, which incorporates the days of the Festival and provides for additional time to accommodate for
set up prior to the Festival and take down and clean up after the Festival; and
WHEREAS, the Parish Council is agreeable to said use and approves the execution of documents by
the Parish President Kevin C. Davis.
THE PARISH OF ST. TAMMANY HEREBY RESOLVES that it approves use by the Bayou
Lacombe Crab Festival Commission, Inc. of the John Henry Davis Park from June 18, 2004 to June 30, 2004,
subject to meeting all requirements outlined in the attached Agreement for Use.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Parish Council authorizes Parish President Kevin C. Davis
to negotiate and execute documents in connection with the use aforesaid.
