No. C-4907 - Resolution Granting Approval to St. Tammany Fire Protection District No. 4 to call and hold an election on April 28, 2018, to authorize (i) the renewal of the levy and collection of a 25 mills ad valorem tax for a period of twenty (20) years for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining and/or operating fire protection facilities and equipment for the district, including the cost of obtaining water for fire protection purposes, and providing emergency medical response and transportation service in the district; (ii) the renewal of the levy and collection of a 1 mill ad valorem tax for a period of twenty (20) years for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining and/or operating fire protection facilities and equipment for the district, including the cost of obtaining water for fire protection purposes, and providing emergency medical response and transportation service in the district; and (iii) the levy and collection of a $75.00 parcel fee for a period of twenty-four (24) years for the purpose of the acquisition, construction, maintenance and operation of fire protection facilities and equipment, including the costs of obtaining water for fire protection purposes and salaries of firemen, and all purposes incidental thereto, within the district; and further providing for other matters in connection therewith. 2. Resolution C.S. No. C-4908 - Resolution granting approval to St. Tammany Parish Fire Protection District No. 13 to call and hold an election on April 28, 2018, to authorize the renewal of the levy and collection of a 20.92 mills ad valorem tax for a period of ten (10) years for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining and/or operating fire protection facilities and equipment in and for the District, including paying the cost of obtaining water for fire protection purposes and the cost of providing services to injured or ill persons in emergency situations as permitted by law; and further providing for other matters in connection therewith.
